Paige is a junior at Georgian Court University, pursuing a double major in History and Elementary Education. With a passion for understanding human behavior and creating supportive classroom environments, Paige is committed to making a positive impact on students' academic and personal growth.
Paige works as a behavior therapist, where she uses the evidence-based strategies of Applied Behavior Analysis to help individuals with autism in be successful in social situations and activities of daily living. This experience has given her unique insights into how she approaches the classroom. By applying the knowledge and skills gained through her work, Paige is able to create lessons that are universally designed for all learners as well as differentiate for individuals as needed. Her experience has also given her the ability to observe, assess, and respond to students' behavioral needs, ensuring she can foster a learning environment that is beneficial for all students.
As an aspiring teacher and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Paige is interested in integrating behavioral science into educational practices. She believes that understanding the relationship between behavior and learning is essential for creating lessons and support to meet the needs of every student. By combining her background in history and education with her skills in behavior therapy, Paige hopes to make a lasting impact on student outcomes.
Paige’s long-term goal is to become a BCBA, where she can further develop her skills and contribute to education practices that promote inclusivity and prioritize the well-being of all students.
