Agard Research Associates, Inc. is an independent, nonpartisan research institute producing rigorous scholarship and policy analysis on the institutions that shape American working life. Our work joins contemporary policy research with the depth of perspective that historical and humanistic scholarship provide, and extends beyond publication into direct programs that serve workplaces, communities, and students. Your support enables us to continue producing research, programs, and resources that strengthen the institutions and communities Americans depend on.

Agard Research Associates, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation. We are not funded by advocacy organizations, political parties, or commercial interests, which means our research agenda is set by scholarly judgment and public need rather than by the priorities of any single funder. That independence depends on a diverse base of support from individuals and institutions who value rigorous, nonpartisan research and principled public service.

With your help, we can:

• Publish original research. Fund working papers, policy briefs, and scholarly analysis on institutional design, employment law, workers' rights, and the conditions of a humane workplace, produced to academic standards and made publicly available.

• Deliver workshops and professional development. Translate research into training for workplaces and institutions on workplace culture, ethical management, organizational design, and employee well-being.

• Reach K-12 classrooms. Develop and deliver presentations, projects, and curricula aligned with New Jersey standards, introducing students to civic institutions, public service, and the historical foundations of American working life.

• Support employment and behavioral health resources. Sustain direct assistance, partnership networks, and trauma-informed referrals for veterans, members of underserved communities, and others navigating barriers to meaningful work.

• Support the next generation. Provide mentorship, convenings, and targeted assistance to students and early-career researchers pursuing scholarly and policy work in the institute's areas of focus.

• Maintain institutional independence. Preserve the scholarly autonomy that makes our research credible to the decision-makers, practitioners, and communities who rely on it.
