Internships at Agard Research Associates Inc.

Internships provide students and early-career professionals with hands-on experience in research, policy analysis, communications, and nonprofit operations. The program connects academic training to applied work, allowing participants to contribute directly to projects that advance accessible, evidence-based scholarship.

Interns are assigned to a department and work under the supervision of the office responsible for that area. Depending on academic background and interest, an intern may prepare research briefs, support outreach initiatives, organize research data, or assist with the production of reports and public materials. Assignments are matched to demonstrated skills and organizational need.

Appointments are part-time and vary in duration according to academic schedules and organizational capacity. Remote and hybrid arrangements are available for most positions. Interns receive access to the organization's Microsoft 365 environment for collaboration and project participation. All accounts remain the property of Agard Research Associates Inc. and must be used in accordance with the organization's data protection and communication policies.

Internships are unpaid. Interns seeking academic credit should confirm their institution's requirements before applying, and the organization will complete institutional documentation where it can. Interns may request a completion letter or reference at the successful conclusion of an appointment, and contributions to published work are credited in accordance with the Publication and Authorship Policy.
