Agard Research Associates Inc. is directed by a board that sets its research priorities and holds responsibility for its independence. Members bring training in history, public policy, and institutional analysis, and they contribute their work to the organization without compensation. The board is supported by researchers, interns, and volunteers who contribute to active projects across the research program.

No funder or outside interest may direct, condition, or suppress the findings of our work. Funders may be invited to comment on drafts but hold no right of approval, and funding sources are disclosed in our publications. Every person affiliated with the organization works under the same standards of methodological rigor, scholarly integrity, and nonpartisanship.
