Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are essential to the mission and daily operations of Agard Research Associates. Our volunteer program offers individuals the opportunity to contribute directly to ongoing research, outreach, and administrative projects that advance education, policy, and community understanding. Every volunteer appointment supports the broader goal of building a stronger foundation for interdisciplinary research and organizational development.

Volunteers may assist in several areas depending on their skills, interests, and availability. Common areas of involvement include research support, data organization, communications, event coordination, and public engagement. Volunteers may also contribute to special projects under the supervision of organizational leadership, assisting with report preparation, digital content management, and the dissemination of research publications.

Volunteer appointments are typically flexible and can be short-term or ongoing. Each appointment is structured to ensure that volunteers gain meaningful experience while contributing to projects that align with their goals and expertise. Assignments are determined based on organizational needs and volunteer capacity, with the intention of creating a mutually beneficial experience.

Individuals selected for volunteer appointments will receive an official onboarding email with access credentials and guidance for participating within our Microsoft 365 environment. All internal volunteer accounts are the property of Agard Research Associates and are managed by authorized administrators. Volunteers are required to follow internal communications policies, data protection standards, and confidentiality guidelines throughout the duration of their service.

Participation in the volunteer program is unpaid, as all contributions are considered charitable in nature and help support the continued growth of our nonprofit mission. Agard Research Associates recognizes all volunteer contributions as charitable service, and eligible participants may request an acknowledgment letter for community service verification or personal records.
