Trevor Jedwabnik serves as a Policy and Public Affairs Specialist at Agard Research Associates. In this role, he serves as a bridge between analyzing external policy stakeholders and their influence on a given policy area research. This position is grounded in apolitical analysis, supported by both collaborative quantitative and qualitative research. This rigorous approach ensures that existing stakeholder influence within a given research area is fully accounted for, while identifying any latent dynamics critical to understanding the policy. His assistance helps inform the organization’s research goals while maintaining a strong commitment to producing academically informed articles that help explore policy analysis for the greater public to keep themselves both informed and educated. In addition, he specializes in the research area of New Jersey energy production, regulation and compliance.

Trevor is currently pursuing a Master of Public Policy at Rutgers University and will be going into his final semester. He graduated from Rowan University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Geography. At Rowan University, he was a member of the Rowan Institute of Public Policy and Citizenship (RIPPAC) and his undergraduate senior thesis focused on the macroeconomic implications of the Chinese Belt and Road Initiative on developing nations in Africa and Asia. While at Rutgers University as part of a policy research practicum, Trevor had contributed both research and writing composition of published policy paper; Exploring Policy Pathways for a New Jersey Public Health Insurance Option: Stakeholder Perspectives & Design Considerations for an NJ FamilyCare Buy-In Program. His diverse academic background heavily informs both his research methodology as well as his understanding of various policy areas. His research interests and areas of expertise include renewable and non renewable energy regulation, electoral representation and analysis, tobacco and firearm regulation, immigration policy, and the relationship of New Jersey state-federal government relations.

Trevor has previously worked as a legislative aide in the New Jersey Assembly and has been involved at varying levels with different Presidential, Senate, Congressional, State Legislature, County and Municipal political campaigns since 2019. Within these various roles he was responsible for voter outreach, event logistics and data collection. Prior to transferring to Rowan University to complete his B.A., Trevor attended Kutztown University of Pennsylvania and was part of the Kutztown University Model United Nations Club (KUMUNC). As an undergraduate freshman, he was a delegate representing Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Lebanon and the Dominican Republic at conferences held at Yale University, McGill University, Princeton University and the University of North Carolina. These experiences helped shape a deep understanding of the logistics intersectional governance and the importance of supporting collaborative policy research skills that he provides for the Agard Research Associates team.

Trevor is committed to informing policymakers and the general public through academic based analysis of energy production methods and state regulation. His prior education and career experiences allow him to assist the team in understanding the various factors and factions of given policy areas. He intends to pursue a career in public or private sector energy or economic development, contributing careful regulatory compliance and logistical function of organizations dedicated to ensuring safe maximized production or investment.
